Co:Writer® Universal app and third-party keyboard provide students with convenient access to word prediction on iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone, and iPod Touch devices. Users can log in to their Co:Writer Universal accounts to write using personalized settings and vocabulary.

ABOUT CO:WRITER UNIVERSAL

This version is intended for educational institutions holding a Co:Writer Universal license exclusively. Individuals without a Co:Writer Universal license must procure the Co:Writer app.

HOW DOES CO:WRITER WORK?

As letters are input, Co:Writer utilizes powerful grammar-smart word prediction to suggest the intended words. Users can audibly hear these suggestions by swiping. Choosing the desired word inserts it into the writing document. For real-time feedback during and after writing, the built-in text-to-speech feature can be utilized to vocalize letters, words, sentences, and the entire content.

4+ MILLION TOPIC-SPECIFIC DICTIONARIES

Co:Writer has access to a primary prediction dictionary containing core words as well as Topic Dictionaries comprising specific topic-related terms. The application can tap into over 4 million topic-specific dictionaries that are activated according to the writing task at hand.

Through its Flexspell™ technology, Co:Writer effectively addresses a wide range of spelling errors encompassing phonetic and inventive spelling mistakes such as letter omissions, word ending omissions, and letter reversals.
